Cameron Oliver will have to take the undrafted free-agent path to an NBA roster.
The Wolf Pack star wasn't one of the 60 players selected in Thursday's draft in Brooklyn. Oliver, who entered the draft after his sophomore season, traveled to the draft to hear his name called and walk across the stage, but that opportunity never materialized.
Oliver did, however, have a team before the night was over. Per ESPN's Chris Hayes, Oliver has signed an undrafted free-agent deal with the Houston Rockets. He will get a spot on the team's summer league team and should also get an NBA training camp invitation.
