Burleson, a Nevada Hall of Fame football player who went on to an 11-year NFL career, was the keynote speaker at the 49th annual Governor’s Dinner on Friday night at the Governor’s Mansion in Carson City.
He spoke to the media before the dinner and stressed the importance of being focused and not allowing the numerous outside influences to get in the way, no matter what road a person is on.
