The uneven bars were not always at the top of Taylor Houchin's personal faves list.
"It used to be my least-favorite event," the Nebraska sophomore gymnast said of bars. "Since I got to college, it's becoming more and more one of my favorites."
"It's definitely been frustrating, but I think my biggest challenge has been trying to find a new role when it comes to helping my team instead of just saying I can just do bars and then I'm just going to sit back," Houchin said. "I'm trying to be more involved with the girls that are in the lineup and help (with) the freshmen, since we have quite a few, trying to give them tips and tricks and stuff and trying to help them be the best they can be.
