Nebraska quarterback Andrew Bunch is in the NCAA's new transfer database and considering his options, but a return to the Huskers remains on the table.
A source told the Journal Star that Bunch's name appeared in the new database, which in October serving as an information hub for players who intend to transfer, and NU on Friday released a statement clarifying Bunch's standing in the program.
"Andrew met with Coach Frost recently and felt it was necessary to explore his options," the statement read. "Playing time is important to him, and we support his decision to see what other opportunities may be out there.
