Nebraska's Dudley finishes third at NCAA meet

TJ Dudley finished his Husker wrestling career with a third-place medal at the NCAA Division I Championships on Saturday at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis.

Dudley capped his third All-American season by pinning Big Ten-rival Sammy Brooks of Iowa in 2 minutes, 38 seconds at 184 pounds.

Before that match, Dudley earned an 15-8 victory against fourth-seeded Nolan Boyd of Oklahoma State to advance to the third-place match.

Dudley, who went 6-1 at the NCAA Tournament, finished his senior season at 33-5. His third-place finish comes a year after Dudley took runner-up honors at 184 pounds.
