North Dakota did everything it could to beat Nebraska on Wednesday night in Lincoln. Nebraska, did almost everything they could to lose it.
It was an uninspired performance but the Cornhuskers ended up putting together a win before Christmas by beating the Fighting Hawks 83-75 on the last night of fall.
Call it grit, but Nebraska did do what they needed to keep their winning record strong. You have to give it to the team, they did pull off the win in the end.
A win against a team that had half the talent that the Huskers had but by far more grit and determination to hopefully take the win back home to Grand Forks before the holiday.
