Some Nebraska football fans might remember that Wisconsin Badgers’ kicker Rafael Gaglianone has been paying homage to the Huskers recently passed punter by changing his number to 27 this year. This weekend, he’s going to go above and beyond, and show solidarity with the Cornhuskers before the game.
247Sports reports that Gaglianone will be coming out of the tunnel with Nebraska football kicker Drew Brown as they will both be carrying Sam Foltz’s #27 jersey. Showing solidarity doesn’t begin or end with the beginning of the game on Saturday.
The Badger Nation reports Gaglianone is also going to be spending Friday night with Brown and members of the Foltz family at the Nebraska football team’s hotel.
