Nebraska Football: Huskers legend Tommy Armstrong to play for Danger

Once a star for the Nebraska football program, former Cornhuskers quarterback Tommy Armstrong will find work in the state of Nebraska at the quarterback position. On Wednesday, it was reported by Bob Harmar of the Omaha World-Herald that the Nebraska Danger of the Indoor Football League signed Armstrong.

Armstrong had a tremendous career for Nebraska football. He started in 44 games and played from 2013-2016. I’m sure many remember the impact he made his freshman year. He took over the starting job at the midpoint of the season and led the program to a 7-1 record.
