Nebraska football extends offer to intriguing smaller school linebacker

Nebraska football has been busy recruiting, and late Saturday night, a linebacker announced his top four schools. Drew Monin, who plays at Avon Old Farms in Connecticut, had Nebraska listed in that group.

Monin recorded 64 total tackles in two years of varsity football. His best season came in 2017, when he recorded 38 tackles. The 2018 season also proved to be very fruitful for him as well. He recorded 26 total tackles. He is from the 2020 class.

In addition to Nebraska, Rutgers, Virginia Tech, and Merrimack were also on his list. For those who don’t know, Merrimack is a smaller Division I school based in Massachusetts.
