Nebraska Basketball: 3 things we learned in loss to Penn State

For the Nebraska basketball team there was hope about possibly making the NCAA Tournament leading up to the Penn State game but after another blowout loss, the Huskers are in tough shape.

From the opening tip, the Huskers loss to Penn State was an exercise in futility. Nebraska basketball was exposed in both halves offensively and an early 11-2 run by the Nittany Lions gave them control of the game.

At the half, the Huskers found themselves down 44-25, as they were struggling mightily on both ends of the floor. In the second half, Penn State shot the ball even better and finished the game shooting 56 percent from the field in a 24-point win over the Huskers.
