Nebraska Baseball's Chad Luensman Leads Eight Huskers With All-B1G Honors

The postseason accolades were released for the 2016 Big Ten Baseball season. The Nebraska Cornhuskers were well represented with the leading note being Freshman Pitcher Chad Luensmann being named Big Ten Freshman of the year, the first time any Husker has won that award in program history.

Luensmann, who was drafted in the 39th round of the Major League Baseball draft last spring by the New York Mets, turned down a pro contract to come to Lincoln.
