David Witty joined the Nebraska athletic department in November of 2014 as a senior associate athletic director, overseeing marketing and communications. He also spent more than two decades with the Kansas City Royals, serving in media relations and marketing — rising to a vice president's role with the organization.
How many major-league games have you attended?
"I would say over 3,500 when you count spring training and regular season. For 15 years, I went to every spring training and home and road game. Then the last six years, I went to all the home games and part of spring training and some of the road games.
