The Nebraska offense has seen several current and future All-American pitchers this season.
Add Minnesota ace Sara Groenewegen, and her ruthless change-up, to the list.
The senior right-hander and the No. 8 Gophers closed out a three-game sweep of the Nebraska softball team with an 8-1 victory Sunday at Bowlin Stadium.
Groenewegen, an All-American who entered the game with a 0.63 earned-run averaged, struck out 11 and allowed just two hits in a complete-game effort. She threw just 86 pitches, and 66 of those went for strikes.
"I felt like her change-up was as good as I've ever seen her with us," NU coach Rhonda Revelle said.
