Of note: Coming out of Lincoln East he was recruited by Hastings, and also had a walk-on offer from South Dakota State. His hard work paid off when he learned last week he was going from walk-on to a scholarship player. The fifth-year Husker started two games last season, and had a 22-yard touchdown against Northwestern. He had five receptions in 2016.
