Friday was such a carefree day. Everyone was looking forward to Big Ten Media Days. We decided we’d post our Unabridged Q&A with our Northwestern site.
Today, I’m not really sure what to say. It is fortunate that we don’t have to go through this very often. Losing someone so young is never easy; you’re left wondering what they could have accomplished with all of their tomorrows ahead of them and suddenly there are no more tomorrows.
It sucks even worse when that young person is one of the best of us. Comments made by media, teammates and fans about Sam Foltz make it clear he was an extraordinary young man.
