College track roundup: NWU women end Wartburg's run; Tupper finishes third in shot put at Big Tens

The Nebraska Wesleyan women won the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference outdoor track title, ending an 18-year run of consecutive titles by Wartburg.

The Prairie Wolves finished with four individual and five total champions on Saturday in Pella, Iowa. Ellie Beiermann won the steeplechase and Elizabeth Jones won the 400 meters, while Maddie Tolly won the pole vault and Hannah Manley added a conference title in the triple jump.

NWU capped the day with a conference title in the 4x400 relay to edge Wartburg 194.33-188.
