Brokop updates Twitter profile to 'former Nebraska football player'

It appears that third-year sophomore Nebraska offensive lineman Bryan Brokop will join quarterback Patrick O’Brien and fullback Ben Miles in transferring out of the program this spring.

The 6-foot-5, 295-pounder, who starred at Lincoln-Way West in New Lenox, Illinois, added depth to the offensive line in 2017 but never appeared in a game. He redshirted in 2016.

In high school, he was ranked among the top 25 offensive guards in the country by both Rivals.com and Scout.com, while 247Sports ranked him among the nation's top 400 prospects.
