USC players celebrate Clay Helton getting permanent job

Clay Helton may not be the guy that USC fans and former players want, but it is clear that he is extremely popular with players on the team.

On Monday morning, Helton had his interim tag removed by athletic director Pat Haden. USC released video of Haden introducing Helton as full-time head coach to the team, and the Trojans went absolutely nuts.

That’s a pretty awesome sight. Now, Helton and the Trojans have to shift their focus to Stanford, who they face in this weekend’s Pac-12 title.
