Rutgers University’s board has approved a plan to build a multiuse men’s and women’s basketball facility and give the university’s football team exclusive use of a refurbished Hale Center. With Rutgers entering its second year in the Big Ten, upgrades to the facilities have become a priority to compete in a major conference.
