Sports Briefing | College Basketball: Louisville Campus Police Reviewing Escort Allegations

The Louisville campus police said they were reviewing allegations that a former men’s basketball staff member hired escorts to dance and have sex with recruits and players in a dormitory.

Katina Powell wrote in a book released online over the weekend that Andre McGee, the former Cardinals director of basketball operations, paid her $10,000 for dancers to perform 22 shows from 2010 to 2014 at the players’ Billy Minardi Hall dormitory. The university reported those allegations to the N.C.A.A. and has begun an investigation.
