Finally, the Ryan Fitzpatrick era in New York is over. Moments after the Jets fell to the Colts, 41-10, on Monday night, Jets coach Todd Bowles told reporters that Bryce Petty will start the team's final four games against the 49ers, Dolphins, Patriots, and Bills.
Strangely, Bowles said that Fitzpatrick's disastrous outing against the Colts had nothing to do with the decision. According to Bowles, the plan all along was to give Petty the starting job after Monday's game.
