Former Penn State Nittany Lions tight end Brent Wilkerson was sentenced to five years' probation and will register as a sex offender after pleading guilty to indecent assault.
According to the Associated Press, Wilkerson received his sentence Tuesday in a Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, court. He was initially charged with indecent assault and harassment March 8 following a February incident in which he fondled a women after a night at several bars.
The woman told police she was a friend of Wilkerson and drove him home that night. He then fell asleep at her apartment, and she awoke to Wilkerson pulling on her.
