Former Ole Miss center transferring to Kansas

On the tail end of his visit to Kansas, former Ole Miss center Dwight Coleby has decided to transfer to the Big 12 school. News of Coleby’s transfer was first reported by ESPN.com, with the 6-foot-9 big man confirming it via social media shortly thereafter.

“I am excited to be a part of something special here at Kansas… #RockChalkJayhawk,” Coleby said via his Twitter account.

Coleby made just three starts as a sophomore at Ole Miss, averaging 5.4 points and 4.8 rebounds in 16.5 minutes of action per contest. Playing time was a reason for his decision to leave Ole Miss, and he joins a program that tends to used multiple big men in its rotation.
