2016 recruiting classes in college football, the Seminoles lacked an elite-level running back to round out the group. That changed Monday with the addition of Amir Rasul.
"I felt FSU is the best place for me," he said. "Both coach (Jimbo) Fisher and coach Tim Brewster were very excited when I told them. I see myself as the same type of player that Dalvin Cook is. I can add to that and take over when he leaves."
Rasul is the seventh-best running back in 247Sports' composite rankings. He also ranks 197th overall.
This development comes mere days after he decommitted from the Miami Hurricanes.
