AP

While many programs are looking to put the finishing touches on their 2015 recruiting hauls, Virginia’s is well on its way in the Class of 2016. Having already secured three commitments in the class, Tony Bennett and his staff landed a fourth Thursday night in the form of power forward Jay Huff.

News of Huff’s commitment was first reported by ESPN.com and Scout.com.

The 6-foot-10 Huff, who attends Voyager Academy in Durham, North Carolina, was on the receiving end of interest from a number of high major programs including Duke. But according to multiple outlets it was Virginia who was first to offer Huff a scholarship, with the skilled big man committing a week after receiving the offer.
