Stephen Curry shoots down free agency speculation: I want to be here

NBA MVP Stephen Curry has no intentions of leaving the Golden State Warriors as he enters the final year of his contract and will become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the year, he told reporters on Tuesday.

“I want to be back here,” Curry said. “I like playing here and that's it.”

This upcoming season will mark the final year of his four-year, $44 million deal. He is the fourth-highest paid player on the Warriors as he is expected to earn $12 million this year.

Golden State added forward Kevin Durant in the off-season as he inked a two-year, $54 million contract.
