Kerr to meet with team, inclined to rest players

OAKLAND, Calif. -- After the Golden State Warriors beat the San Antonio Spurs 112-101 to secure their 70th win, coach Steve Kerr said the team will meet to discuss whether to rest players in their remaining three games.

With the victory, the Warriors clinched the No. 1 seed, Kerr's primary goal for the season. Now, the Warriors must weigh their options, as surpassing the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls' 72-win record remains attainable.

"We are going to talk about it tomorrow," Kerr said. "We've been putting it off for as long as we were able to, which was until we got the 1-seed.
