Harrison Barnes should take the money he’s being offered
Harrison Barnes isn’t content with what the Golden State Warriors are offering to pay him, though it seems to be a fair price.
Barnes is entering the final option-less year of his rookie-scale contract, and like all other upcoming free agents, is trying to cash-out while he’s healthy and young and the cap remains uncontained and on the up and up.
The Warriors worked the offseason magically, losing just David Lee (which was inevitable). They turned his contract into Jason Thompson, and retained the rest of the key pieces in their championship-winning roster.
