Any other season and the Spurs would be the talk of the NBA. Once again, however, they’re greatness has been overshadowed by the “flashier” team.
It’s Steph Curry’s world, and the rest of the NBA is just living in it. After Curry hit the shot heard ‘round the world last Saturday night in Oklahoma City, players like LeBron James, Damian Lillard, Dwyane Wade, Dirk Nowitzki, and numerous others took to Twitter to praise the likely first unanimous MVP in NBA history. Jared Dudley even referred to Curry as “Jesus” himself. I think the most ridiculous part about the 37-foot game winner was that most people knew it was going in.
