The NBA could be returning to play very soon after Adam Silver’s call with the NBA Board of Governors on Tuesday. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that there’s “optimism growing” toward resuming play this season. Chris Paul, the president of the NBA Player’s Association, had a call with several NBA stars including LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Kawhi Leonard, Steph Curry and others about returning and they came to a “united” decision to return to play if it’s safe. Silver says the league will decide in the next 2-4 weeks whether or not to resume the 2019-20 NBA Season.
