Celtics Win 2017 NBA Draft Lottery As Lakers, 76ers Round Out Top Three - Full Draft Order Here:

The ping pong balls bounced the way of the Boston Celtics on Tuesday night, as they won the 2017 NBA Draft Lottery to claim the top overall pick in the draft. The Brooklyn Nets technically won the lottery, but the Celtics have the right to switch first-round picks with them, which they did. They started the night with the best odds of winning the lottery (25.0 percent).

Los Angeles Lakers got the second pick in the draft for the second year in a row, and the Philadelphia 76ers got the third pick. Here is the final draft order:

30) Utah Jazz (via Warriors)
29) San Antonio Spurs
28) Los Angeles Lakers (via Rockets)
27) Brooklyn Nets (via Celtics)
26) Orlando Magic (via Raptors from Clippers)
25) Toronto Raptors
24) Utah Jazz
23) Portland Trail Blazers (via  Cavaliers)
22) Brooklyn Nets (via Wizards)
21) Oklahoma City Thunder
20) Atlanta Hawks
19) Portland Trail Blazers (via Nuggets from Grizzlies)
18) Indiana Pacers
17) Milwaukee Bucks
16) Chicago Bulls
15) Portland Trail Blazers
LOTTERY SELECTIONS:
14) Miami Heat
13) Denver Nuggets
12) Detroit Pistons
11) Charlotte Hornets
10) Sacramento Kings (via Pelicans)
9) Dallas Mavericks
8) New York Knicks
7) Minnesota Timberwolves
6) Orlando Magic
5) Sacramento Kings (via 76ers)
4) Phoenix Suns
3) Philadelphia 76ers (via Kings)
2) Los Angeles Lakers
1) Boston Celtics (via Nets)

The biggest surprise in the draft was the Lakers moving up to the No. 2 pick from No. 3. If their pick had fallen out of the top three, it would have gone to the 76ers. Sacramento also moved from No. 8 to No. 3, but Philadelphia had the right to swap picks with them, which they did.

Boston will likely select Washington PG Markelle Fultz with the top pick, while the Lakers are expected to take UCLA PG Lonzo Ball.
