Toronto (Canada) (AFP) - Toronto Raptors swingman Terrence Ross, who fought through injury to compete in the NBA playoffs, has undergone surgery on his sore left ankle, the Canadian club announced Saturday.

The 24-year-old American, who serves as a small forward or shooting guard for the Raptors, had bone spurs and other loose bodies removed from the ankle on Friday. No timetable for his return was immediately set.
