Sophomore goalkeeper Ryan Kerns recorded a career-high 17 saves as Navy rallied to upset sixth-ranked Army, 10-6, in men's lacrosse before a record crowd of 12,705 on Saturday.
Junior attackman Ryan Wade scored two goals and dished off two assists for the Midshipmen, who trailed 6-3 with 3 ½ minutes left in the third quarter. Two other juniors – attackman David Little and midfielder Greyson Torain – both contributed two goals and an assist.
Little finished a beautiful fastbreak with a hard shot from 8 yards out to give Navy the lead for good, 7-6 with 8:20 to go.
