Keenan Reynolds was seated on a couch in the living room of the Crownsville home of his sponsor family when he got the phone call he had been waiting for all day.
A large contingent of family and friends grew silent as the Navy football standout listened to the voice on the other end of the line.
With cell phone still to his ear, Reynolds announced to all the assembled “I’m going to be a Raven!”
The packed room, which included Navy coach Ken Niumatalolo and numerous Navy football players, exploded with cheers and hollers while Jacqueline Reynolds gave her son a big hug.
