It didn't take long for former Navy football player Alohi Gilman to find a new home. Just nine days after announcing he was Naval Academy, the standout defensive back signed with Notre Dame.
Notre Dame announced on Friday that it had accepted Gilman as a transfer and that he would be eligible beginning with the 2018 season.
"I'm extremely grateful to be a part of the Notre Dame family," Gilman said in a statement. "I'm thankful to the coaching staff and the man above for not only believing in me, but also providing this opportunity.
