NAVY MEN'S SOCCER: The Mids (2-6-3, 0-3-1 PL) responded from an early deficit to tie Holy Cross (5-6-1, 1-2-1 PL), 1-1, in double overtime on Saturday afternoon in a rainy Patriot League match at the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility.
"We came out and gave up an early goal that we shouldn't have and that was disappointing," said Navy head coach Tim O'Donohue. "But the guys responded and we were able to come back and get the draw. We felt like we had the chances to win the game, so in that sense it is disappointing. But when your down 1-0 in the first two minutes and you are able to come out with some kind of result, it makes it a little easier to swallow.
