NAVY ATHLETICS: Major athletic award winners were announced Thursday afternoon at the annual Prizes and Awards Ceremony at Alumni Hall.
Chris Fennell of the men's lacrosse team was awarded the NAAA Sword for Men, which is presented to that man of the graduating class who is considered by the Association's Athletic Council to have personally excelled in men's athletics during his years of varsity competition
Fennell won four varsity letters for the Mids and was regarded as one of the top close defenders in the country. He has served as the cornerstone of Navy's defensive unit over the past four seasons.
