As a senior at St. Augustine Prep School, Calvin Cass Jr. narrowed his collegiate choices to the United States Naval Academy and the United States Military Academy.
Cass took an official visit to Annapolis to tour the campus and find out more about the football program. The Sicklerville, New Jersey resident was swept off his feet and committed to Navy a few days later, canceling a planned visit to West Point.
"What made the decision-making process easy for me was realizing the coaching staff and brotherhood factor at the Naval Academy was second to none. I don't think West Point would have resonated with me the way this place did," Cass said.
