There are currently 18 days and nine games remaining for the Predators before the February 29th NHL Trade Deadline. David Poile has never been shy about making a trade to help the team as the deadline nears. He has already traded for Ryan Johansen which would have to be deemed an unqualified success as he has four goals and 15 points in only 14 games so far.
Although Johansen has been scoring, the Predators have only gone 6-7-1 in those 14 games. They had a nice four-game win streak before the All-Star break but those four wins were against lower echelon teams.
