There are five members of the Nashville Predators that have been given the honor of representing their country on the World stage. Hopefully, it will help them get off to a quick start for the Preds season too.
In a somewhat surprising move, Mattias Ekholm was named to the Swedish Team joining Filip Forsberg. In addition, Pekka Rinne will play for Finland, Shea Weber for Canada and Roman Josi for Team Europe. Many thought that Dallas Stars John Klingberg would be named ahead of Ekholm.
