The name Craig Smith doesn’t immediately ring a bell in the mind of hockey fans, but in the city of Nashville, everyone knows the importance of that name. The 26-year-old Madison, WI native has put up solid numbers for the Nashville Predators during the five years on the roster with at least 20 goals in four out of the five seasons.
While the regular season was good for Smith, he saw limited post-season time due to a lower-body injury. His crazy legs weren’t so crazy anymore and boy did the Predators feel it when he was absent.
