The Nashville Predators signed a 6-year, $12 million contract with Calle Jarnkrok as it was announced yesterday. The forward who will turn 25-years old before the season begins and the club avoided Arbitration which was scheduled for August 4th
Soon after the signing was announced, several media outlets were questioning why Jarnkrok would sign such a long term deal at such a low price.
After his best season with 16 goals and 30 points last season, it seemed strange to most that he wouldn’t receive either a bridge deal for shorter term or more money for the long-term deal.
