The first busy week of the off-season is complete. The Expansion Draft and the NHL Awards. The NHL Entry Draft. All in the rear-view mirror. And, while some of it proved difficult, overall the Nashville Predators managed to take steps forward.
With all the other news and activities, you may have missed the release of the 2017-18 season. To say that the start of the season will be exciting and difficult is slightly laughable. The Predators open the season on the road on October 5 against the Boston Bruins. Two days later, the visit Pittsburgh.
The Predators make their home debut on October 10, and will raise the Western Conference Champion banner that day, before taking on the Philadelphia Flyers.
