Pekka Rinne Named Finalist for Vezina Trophy

The Finnish netminder is going to Las Vegas.

After the Swedish Kid got snubbed yesterday, there may have been some doubt creeping into the back of Predators' fans minds that it wouldn't be the only missed individual award this year.

Fear not, as Pekka Rinne has been named a finalist for the Vezina trophy, along with Montreal's Carey Price and Minnesota's Devan Dubnyk.

Rinne, like Forsberg, faded a bit in the later part of the year, but was so good before the All-Star break (and his knee injury) that he was in the MVP talk as well.
