The Nashville Predators and Chicago Blackhawks met in a game six that the Predators had to come away with a win to force game seven. The series had been perhaps the most thrilling series of the Stanley Cup playoffs prior to the action in game six but this one out did itself right from puck drop.
James Neal opened up the scoring just 1:10 into the contest for his third of the series. The play started with Neal making a solid check followed by Seth Jones mishandling but leaving the puck for Neal who carried it on net flipping a backhand shot past Scott Darling.
