The Chicago White Sox acquired outfielder Brady Shoemaker from the Miami Marlins on Thursday

According to Robert Murray of todaysknuckleball.com, the Chicago White Sox have acquired Brady Shoemaker from the Miami Marlins.

Shoemaker began the 2016 season with the Jacksonville Suns, but has since been promoted to the New Orleans Zephyrs prior to the trade on Thursday. His production this season has not been something to write home about, amassing a .218 batting average with seven home runs and 34 RBI alongside a respectable .338 on-base percentage. It is also worth noting that he has struck out 50 times over the course of 220 at bats as well.
