San Jose State snaps three-game losing skid with win over Washington State

San Jose State is a much different team than two years when they met Washington State on the hardwood.

Both the Spartans and Cougars headed into Sunday's game after a loss. San Jose State tried to snap a five-game losing streak to Washington State when the ball went up.

The Spartans went on to defeat the Cougars 88-76 at Beasley Coliseum.

The 1st win for @SJSUMBB over a PAC 12 school since 2010 & 1st against WSU since 1990, was also the best 40 mins I've seen a SJSU team play.

It started with Ryan Welage who had five of the first nine points for San Jose State at 14:50 of the first half.
