The Lobos took two out of three from a good Missouri State team which should go a long way in lending a little credibility to their national status. Then again they drop a double header to K-State in Manhattan which didn't help. Sigh. Air Force split two games with Omaha by football scores which is no surprise. The scores? Oh, uh, 24-5 and 17-16. Pitchers need not apply. Those two were midweek games. San Jose State drops two of three on the road at Nevada and the one win was only the second road game they've won this season.
