San Diego State Running Back Donnel Pumphrey took time on Friday to talk with the Aztec flagship radio station to talk about his pro day and his NFL prospects.
During the interview with the Mighty 1090 the Aztec running back says the Los Angeles Chargers and New York Jets were primarily giving work outs, with the caveat that other unnamed NFL scouts were at the pro day. Pumphrey’s preference? The Chargers and working behind Philip Rivers.
Pumphrey also got to work more on his other other abilities like pass catching and punt returning. Sometime during last spring ball Pumphrey was taking back punts.
