Andres Romero has to prove himself again in 2017

There might not be a player more excited for the season to start on March 4th than Montreal Impact midfielder Andres Romero who has been out of the game for the entire 2016-2017 season due to a knee injury. The 27-year-old is still recovering from a torn ACL he suffered on October 10th 2015 against the Colorado Rapids.

The Argentine player will have to prove himself back if he wants to get minutes in Mauro Biello’s starting lineup. His natural right wing spot has been rightfully taken by Dominic Oduro this past year and with Ballou Jean-Yves Tabla emerging as one of the teams top prospects on the attacking front, it should be an interesting year full of battles and challenges for the returning player.
